And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edson Blois!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blois gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Blois is trying to pull guard but Gabriel has him pressed against the cage.
Blois fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gabriel is looking to take this one to the mat.
Blois drags the fight down to the ground.
Blois seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Gabriel wants to stand but Blois has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gabriel is in close to Blois's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Blois has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gabriel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Blois has tightened it up now! Gabriel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
