Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karsten Koererlaerer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brett Stone! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone has Koererlaerer up against the cage in a clinch.
Koererlaerer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stone fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Koererlaerer throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Koererlaerer fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Koererlaerer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee asks Stone politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stone prefers to stall for the moment though. Stone swings around for an armbar but Koererlaerer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stone's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Koererlaerer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stone manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Stone throws an elbow that misses.
Stone works on Koererlaerer's body with a couple of short punches. Stone is pressed up against the cage. Koererlaerer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stone down to the mat. Stone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stone gets caught napping as Koererlaerer dives in and scores a takedown. Stone manages to retain guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone wants to stand but Koererlaerer is controlling the position. No, Koererlaerer has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted. Stone is trying to control the position but Koererlaerer postures up. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Stone is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Koererlaerer misses with a straight left. Stone throws out a loose jab but Koererlaerer uses good head movement to avoid it. Brett Stone dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Stone misses with a looping right. Stone fails with a takedown attempt. Stone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Stone darts in looking for a takedown but Koererlaerer gets double underhooks and turns Stone into the cage. Koererlaerer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koererlaerer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stone feints and as Koererlaerer raises his hands in defense, Stone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stone stopping the sweep attempt from Koererlaerer. Koererlaerer kicks Stone off and gets to his feet. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Koererlaerer as he jumps to the side. Karsten Koererlaerer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Stone. Koererlaerer tries to keep at a distance but Stone has taken the fight into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koererlaerer goes for a takedown attempt but Stone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Stone just misses with a elbow thrown towards Koererlaerer's brow. Koererlaerer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Koererlaerer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stone pulls him back up using the underhooks. A body shot lands from Stone.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koererlaerer looking to score a takedown here. Stone is defending well but Koererlaerer drives through and ends up in Stone's guard. Stone wriggles free and stands up. Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.

Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth. Koererlaerer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stone can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Stone takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Koererlaerer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koererlaerer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stone looks a forlorn figure.

Stone is still in real trouble! Can Koererlaerer finish him? Koererlaerer lands a couple of good shots and Stone has given up his back, trying to escape the position! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Karsten Koererlaerer will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Stone clinches. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. Stone has a couple of punches blocked by Koererlaerer.

Koererlaerer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Koererlaerer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stone's head. Stone is looking for a triangle but Koererlaerer pushes his legs off easily.
