Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cannon Hinnant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justin Gaethje!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinnant shoots for a takedown but Gaethje saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gaethje cracks Hinnant with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hinnant looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gaethje finish him?
Hinnant is rocked!
It looks like Cannon Hinnant has been cut.
Hinnant closes the distance and clinches up with Gaethje, looking for a takedown. Hinnant pushes Gaethje against the cage but Gaethje circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oh Hinnant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gaethje sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hinnant's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hinnant's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
