Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Selimkhan Rasnov (ranked 24170 p4p, 5064 weight class) and Titoxo Podric (ranked 568 p4p, 514 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Selimkhan Rasnov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Selimkhan Rasnov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasnov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rasnov wants to clinch up but Podric keeps it at a distance.
Podric feints the counter takedown.
Rasnov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Podric defends it nicely.
Rasnov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Podric tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Podric lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Podric lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Podric scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Rasnov is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rasnov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rasnov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Podric defends well and Rasnov ends up having to push Podric into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rasnov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Podric walks away with a smile on his face. Rasnov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Podric is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Rasnov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Podric doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Podric manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Podric wants to stand and escape but instead Rasnov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rasnov doesn't manage to clinch there - Podric circles away.
Podric with the counter takedown but Rasnov avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rasnov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rasnov tries to land a front kick but Podric steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Podric leaves Rasnov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Podric has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rasnov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Podric throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rasnov's body to avoid the submission. Rasnov has instead reached around Podric's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rasnov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
