Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deruck Nganoo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everest Frank! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Nganoo enables Frank to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nganoo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Frank scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Nganoo has momentary wrist control but Frank slips an elbow through the middle. Nganoo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Frank slips nicely into half guard. Frank is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Nganoo is hurt! He's hurt bad - Frank fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Nganoo from any more punishment! Congratulations to Frank! Great finish!
