Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Esteban San Pedro (ranked 259 p4p, 1108 weight class) and Gilmat Kirk (ranked 31 p4p, 123 weight class). San Pedro comes to the cage accompanied by Gunman. Kirk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lords of Iron. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gilmat Kirk!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. San Pedro tries to avoid it but Kirk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag San Pedro to the ground. San Pedro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

letting San Pedro counter with a right hand.
Kirk shoots in for a double leg but San Pedro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Esteban San Pedro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilmat Kirk.
