Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamal King (ranked 4196 p4p, 4201 weight class) and Aso Rizal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kamal King has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kamal King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aso Rizal! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Rizal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. King is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Rizal. King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rizal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat. King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rizal. Rizal wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well. Rizal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rizal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rizal swings around for an armbar but King sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rizal's guard. King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizal is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but King frees his head nicely. Oh but Rizal has switched to an armbar! King is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Aso Rizal! During a confident post fight interview, Aso Rizal thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
