The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Artag pushes Watson off looking to stand but Watson dives back in and keeps control.
Watson trying to mount his opponent but Artag defends it.
Artag wants to get back to his feet.
Watson wants to pass to mount but Artag is defending the position.
Artag tries to kick Watson off but Watson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watson looking to take Artag's back but Artag rolls and after a scramble, Artag ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Artag to escape a tricky position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Artag stands up from Watson's guard - Artag perhaps looking for a knockout.
Watson throws a body shot but no joy.
Watson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Artag.
We've been told by Artag's head coaches at Tiaoali Lvavatai BJJ & MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Watson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Artag moves away.

Watson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Artag looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Artag clobbers Watson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Watson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Artag swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Artag lands with a hook. Watson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Artag throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Watson on the side of the head.

Artag is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Watson darts in looking for a takedown but Artag gets double underhooks and turns Watson into the cage.
Artag swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Watson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Artag sprawls well initially but Watson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Artag makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Watson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Watson thows a leg kick but Artag checks it
and Artag counters with a stiff right hand.

Watson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Artag as he jumps to the side.
Togoldor Artag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Joseph Watson.
Artag missing with a left hand there. Watson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Watson misses with a head kick.

Artag lands a big uppercut and Watson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Watson looks OK. Artag waves Watson back to his feet!

Watson is still on wobbly legs! Can Artag finish him?
Watson drops his hands momentarily. Artag doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Watson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Watson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

After winning the bout, Togoldor Artag thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
