Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xenos Leventis (ranked 5392 p4p, 24034 weight class) and Umemoto Toshiko (ranked 568 p4p, 657 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toshiko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Leventis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Toshiko walks into a stiff left hand from Leventis.

It looks like Umemoto Toshiko has been cut.

Leventis scores with a takedown into Toshiko's guard.
Leventis has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Leventis scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Leventis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Toshiko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leventis postures up and lands a big shot to Toshiko's brow.
Leventis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Leventis stands up over Toshiko, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Leventis cracks Toshiko with a solid left hand.
Leventis lands a couple of elbows.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Leventis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Toshiko is rocked!
Leventis arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Toshiko's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

After winning the bout, Xenos Leventis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
