Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Wayne (ranked 1238 p4p, 1278 weight class) and Patrick Turgeon (ranked 168 p4p, 172 weight class). Wayne kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Edge Of A Revolution- Nickelback. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Turgeon!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Turgeon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wayne has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wayne connects with the punch.
Wayne lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wayne throws a right hand that misses
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Turgeon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wayne throws the left hand but Turgeon avoids the punch easily.

Wayne feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Turgeon sprawling to the canvas! Turgeon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wayne finish him?!

Turgeon is rocked!

It looks like Patrick Turgeon has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wayne looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Wayne backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Turgeon's temple! It sends Turgeon violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Wayne celebrates and the doctors try to help Turgeon!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Anthony Wayne!
Anthony Wayne really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Warrior Fight Store logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
