Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Teurastaja (ranked 4399 p4p, 4482 weight class) and Jannick Michielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimmo Teurastaja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jannick Michielsen! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teurastaja gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Teurastaja dives in for a single leg takedown but Michielsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Michielsen can't break the clinch.
Teurastaja could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Michielsen tries to break the clinch but Teurastaja is controlling the position. Michielsen is pressed up against the cage. Teurastaja has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Michielsen down to the mat. Michielsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Teurastaja goes for a double leg but Michielsen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Michielsen continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimmo Teurastaja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Michielsen wants to get back to striking at distance but Teurastaja won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on Michielsen's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michielsen stops a takedown attempt from Teurastaja.

Michielsen is pressed up against the cage. Teurastaja has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Michielsen down to the mat. Michielsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. A cross from Michielsen lands.
It looks like Kimmo Teurastaja has been cut. Teurastaja fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Teurastaja shoots in for a takedown but Michielsen shows good takedown defense. Teurastaja is breathing heavily. Teurastaja moves to clinch but Michielsen breaks away and Michielsen counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Teurastaja to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Michielsen!
