Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lehel Bartasz (ranked 1614 p4p, 1562 weight class) and Billy Bob Brown (ranked 217 p4p, 208 weight class). Bartasz comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar.... These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Brown.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brown.
Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bartasz.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Bartasz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brown moves to clinch but Bartasz breaks away
and Bartasz counters with a nice uppercut.

Brown closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Brown tries to land knees in the clinch but Bartasz avoids the damage to the body.

I was talking to Bartasz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Brown lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Bartasz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bartasz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown cracks Bartasz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brown has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bartasz to stand back up!

Brown steps in with a hook that catches Bartasz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Brown follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bartasz looks absolutely devastated.
