Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Silvania (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afonso Henriques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Afonso Henriques will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvania moves in looking to clinch but Henriques pushes him off.
Henriques shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silvania defends it nicely.
Henriques tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Henriques circles away from the clinch attempt
so Henriques counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Henriques loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silvania avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Silvania keeping moving, preventing Henriques from controlling successfully.
Henriques stops Silvania from standing up.

Silvania knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henriques on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Henriques bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Henriques has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Henriques might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silvania kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Henriques wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silvania, who protects the arm well.
Silvania is trying to control Henriques's posture but Henriques avoids it.

Silvania is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Henriques with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Henriques is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silvania is surviving well by controlling Henriques's body position as best he can.
Henriques connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Henriques trying to control but Silvania is having none of it.
Henriques is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Henriques jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silvania manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henriques has hold of Silvania's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Silvania seems comfortable defending it but Henriques has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Silvania is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Silvania is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Henriques couldn't care less - he's delighted!
