This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Tyrell Williams! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 6 losses; Alexander Lincoln !
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Williams closes the distance and pushes Lincoln back into the cage.
Lincoln has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Williams after a bit of a struggle.
Lincoln tries for a takedown but Williams manages to get underhooks.
Lincoln has Williams pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Williams manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tyrell Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Lincoln .

Williams is pressed up against the cage. Lincoln has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Williams down to the mat. Williams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet.
Lincoln misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Williams lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Williams's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Williams wants to pass the guard but Lincoln is defending well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lincoln is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lincoln can do anything to dispel that myth.

Williams is trying to take his opponent's back.

Lincoln tries to lock up and control but Williams gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Williams wants to take Lincoln 's back here but Lincoln is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Williams has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lincoln tries to reverse the position but Williams maintains control.

Lincoln wants to control but Williams is having none of it.

Lincoln is desperately trying to improve his position but Williams has a good base and remains in mount.
Williams avoids the attempt from Lincoln to control.
Williams controlling from the full mount.
Lincoln tries to control Williams's body but Williams pushes him off. Lincoln squirms to his side and now Williams has his back!

This is a sustained period of stalling by Williams.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
