The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cleveland paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Paulik takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Paulik gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cleveland lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Paulik has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Paulik fails to pull guard.
Paulik changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cleveland fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Cleveland lands a left and a right that send Paulik crashing to the mat, dazed. Cleveland thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Paulik is rocked!

It looks like Tony Paulik has been cut.
Cleveland has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paulik circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Cleveland. Paulik falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Cleveland!
