Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Diego (ranked 1800 p4p, 1243 weight class) and Gee Gutsu (ranked 265 p4p, 193 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutsu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Diego to the ground. Gutsu is now in Diego's guard.

and Gutsu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diego won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gutsu is trying to move to mount but Diego reverses beautifully and ends up in Gutsu's guard.
Diego won't allow Gutsu to sweep him here.
Diego wants to get up but he can't break Gutsu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diego, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
