Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Imanari (ranked 320 p4p, 898 weight class) and Conner Travers (ranked 41 p4p, 104 weight class). Imanari comes to the cage accompanied by 吉田兄弟 Rising. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazuo Imanari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Conner Travers!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travers throws a leg kick that is checked
and Imanari holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Imanari jumps guard but Travers stands there with Imanari around his waist. Imanari gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Imanari is trying to pull guard but Travers has him pressed against the cage.
Travers is trying to break the clinch but Imanari is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Travers keeps trying to improve his position.
Imanari working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Travers.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Travers forces his way into half guard.
Travers tries to pass the half guard into mount. Imanari knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Travers is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Travers trying to control the position from guard on top but Imanari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Travers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Imanari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Imanari looking for a guillotine here but Travers defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Travers wants to pass the guard but Imanari is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Travers sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Imanari doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Travers paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Imanari - great work!
