The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lincoln will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lincoln misses with a takedown attempt - Kincaid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

What's Kincaid going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lincoln looking to control but instead Kincaid has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Kincaid wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kincaid seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lincoln for as long as he can get away with.

Kincaid has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lincoln tries to buck Kincaid off but Kincaid is having none of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lincoln can do anything to dispel that myth.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Kincaid.
