The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johannessen works over Brulee's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Creme Brulee has been cut.
Brulee tries for a takedown but Johannessen circles away easily
and Johannessen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Brulee with a lazy takedown attempt
and Johannessen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Brulee with a poor takedown
and Johannessen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brulee thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Creme Brulee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johannessen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brulee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Johannessen connects with a body shot.
Brulee is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Johannessen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Johannessen is stalking Brulee. Brulee circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Johannessen, and it's lights out! Brulee really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Karl Johannessen!
A relieved looking Karl Johannessen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
