Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Jam (ranked 2958 p4p, 2058 weight class) and Artemis Bray (ranked 288 p4p, 218 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sammy Jam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Artemis Bray! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Jam.
Jam throws a hook but Bray avoids it easily. Jam misses with a wild combination.
Bray with the counter takedown but Jam avoids it easily. A big right from Bray misses. Bray defending well as Jam loads up on a big left hand. Bray throws the kick towards the body but Jam avoids it. Jam scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bray in his tracks. Jam blocks a head kick by Bray.
A head kick misses from Bray. Jam cracks Bray with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jam feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brays jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Some wild striking there from Jam.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jam throws a nice looking combination but Bray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bray tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Jam misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jam connects with a right hand. Bray shakes it off. Jam misses with a series of wild punches.
Jam jabs Bray right on the nose. Bray blinks but takes it well. Jam throws a hook but Bray avoids it easily. Bray with the counter takedown but Jam avoids it easily. Jam throws a jab but it's blocked by Bray. Bray misses with a low kick.
Jam lands with a right hand. Jam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bray tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bray blocks a jab. Jam is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bray shoots in but Jam avoids the takedown attempt easily. No joy there for Jam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick from Bray lands but Jam takes it in his stride. Jam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bray pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sammy Jam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bray misses with a head kick.
Jam cracks Bray with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Bray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bray tries for a kimura but Jam is defending well. Jam might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bray tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Jam is looking for a sweep. Jam is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bray working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Jam takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bray wants to control but Jam is keeping him busy. Bray is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jam sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jam looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jam on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jam tries to get out of the position. Jam has a hand on Bray's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bray takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Bray unloading with bombs! Bray wants to control the pace but Jam is squirming around nicely. Bray looking for a guillotine from mount but Jam is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bray jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jam manages to avoid the submission attempt. You can see the frustration on Jam's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jam is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bray connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jam some visible discomfort.
Jam tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bray presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bray jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jam manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bray in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sammy Jam will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The fighters circling - Jam throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Both fighters circling a little - Bray finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A good leg kick by Bray. Bray goes for a double leg but Jam avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jam continues to drive forward. Bray throws a head kick but Jam moves out of range.
Bray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jam quickly recovers to half guard. Jam is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jam actively working from the bottom here. Bray wants to pass the guard but Jam is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jam trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Jam is looking to improve his position but Bray isn't that keen on the idea. Jam is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bray on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bray manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jam to take his back! Jam is in bad spot here.
Bray has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Jam is in real trouble here. Bray gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Jam is tapping out! Bray wins by rear naked choke!
