Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Scott (ranked 933 p4p, 1462 weight class) and Franko Getaldic (ranked 128 p4p, 203 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franko Getaldic! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Getaldic looks to land a left hand but Scott moved out of range nicely. Scott avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A big right from Getaldic misses. Getaldic slips a jab from Scott. Getaldic throws a lazy right hand but Scott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Getaldic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scott circles away quickly and effectively. Getaldic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
Getaldic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott tries to clinch up. Scott avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd cheers as Scott lands an impressive looking overhand right. Getaldic doesn't seem phased though. Getaldic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott gets a clinch. Scott jumps guard but Getaldic turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Scott swings wildly with an uppercut but Getaldic uses good head movement to avoid it. A shot in the inside from Getaldic. Scott tries to pull guard but Getaldic won't allow it.
Getaldic lands with a short shot to the head. Scott pulls guard. Scott pulls Getaldic in close to prevent any damage. Getaldic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Scott to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Getaldic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Scott pulls down on the head and he's put Getaldic to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). David Scott! David Scott seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
