Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Crawley (ranked 393 p4p, 987 weight class) and Tama Ruiha (ranked 63 p4p, 134 weight class). Crawley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jewelry - One More Time. Ruiha has chosen Polynesian Traditional Music as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Crawley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tama Ruiha!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiha takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ruiha takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oooooh!!! Ruiha has knocked Crawley down with a huge combo! Ruiha steps away and waves a wobbly Crawley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Billy Crawley has been cut.
Ruiha throws a combination that misses
and Crawley counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Tama Ruiha has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Crawley throws a hook but Ruiha avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ruiha! But no joy.
Ruiha lands a jab to the head.

and Crawley counters with a stiff right hand.
Ruiha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ruiha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crawley.
Crawley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ruiha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ruiha drops Crawley with a beautiful combination! Crawley stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ruiha is looking for the KO!
Crawley is rocked!
Ruiha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Crawley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Crawley seems to have got his legs back now.

A slow jab from Crawley misses its intended target.
Crawley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ruiha was well out of range. Poor timing from Crawley.

Crawley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Tama Ruiha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crawley lands a nice hook to Ruiha's body. Ruiha takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruiha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crawley moves away.
Crawley is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Crawley is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Ruiha scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sloppy strikes from Ruiha. Those never looked like landing.
Crawley misses with a jab to the body
and Ruiha counters with a three punch combo that has Crawley backing up. Crawley nods at Ruiha to acknowledge the strikes.

Crawley misses with a looping left.
Ruiha throws an overhand right that lands on Crawley's shoulder, as Crawley tries to avoid the shot.
Crawley connects with an inside leg kick.
Ruiha avoids the head kick by Crawley.
Crawley lands with a shot to the body.
Ruiha misses with a left hand
and Crawley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crawley takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Crawley getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The cut above Tama Ruiha's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ruiha throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Crawley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ruiha's head.
Crawley wants to slow Ruiha down by chopping away at his legs.
Ruiha pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crawley misses with a hook. Ruiha ducked under it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crawley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ruiha walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Crawley is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Crawley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruiha manages to avoid it.
Ruiha missing with a left hand there. Crawley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ruiha might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Crawley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ruiha's head.
Tama Ruiha's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Crawley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ruiha is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Crawley with a body shot.
Ruiha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters circling - Crawley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Crawley get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Crawley stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Ruiha runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tama Ruiha!
A relieved looking Tama Ruiha thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
