The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jones prevents Gracie from standing back up.
Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gracie enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gracie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Gracie kicks off Jones and gets to his feet.

Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jones is fighting to break Gracie's control of his arms but Gracie is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jones is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
