The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPhearson stuffs the takedown attempt from Lachowski. Lachowski gets slowly back to his feet.
And McPhearson tries to counter it with a takedown but Lachowski pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Lachowski tries to clinch up but McPhearson circles away and keeps his distance.
McPhearson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

and McPhearson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McPhearson.
McPhearson stands up over Lachowski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
McPhearson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McPhearson loads up on a big left hand. Lachowski felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McPhearson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lachowski can't hide his disappointment, as McPhearson celebrates the victory.
