Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Bermalingo (ranked 6013 p4p, 5051 weight class) and Ogelin Mallu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ogelin Mallu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mallu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mallu takes one to the chin there.

Mallu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mallu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Mallu throws a head kick that Bermalingo semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mallu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mallu throws a right hand that Bermalingo ducks under and follows up with a left that Bermalingo also avoids with ease.
Mallu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bermalingo but Bermalingo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mallu dives in for a single leg takedown but Bermalingo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mallu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bermalingo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mallu.
Bermalingo looks to land a right hand but Mallu moved out of range.
Mallu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bermalingo.
Mallu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bermalingo but Bermalingo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bermalingo throws a nice looking combination but Mallu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mallu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bermalingo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Bermalingo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mallu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bermalingo defends it nicely.
Mallu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bermalingo tries to avoid it but Mallu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bermalingo to the ground. Bermalingo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bermalingo leaves Mallu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
