Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunar McMunges (ranked 4304 p4p, 4420 weight class) and Ian McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunar McMunges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian McGee! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McMunges appears to be looking for a big counter. McGee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McMunges sprawls well initially but McGee persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McGee is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. McMunges knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground. McGee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McMunges has managed to free his arm - good work. McMunges wants to control but McGee passes into side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGee stands up and beckons McMunges to his feet. McGee darts in and clinches McMunges up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee is trying to trip McMunges. He has hold of a leg but McMunges is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. McGee persists though and gets the takedown into guard. McGee controls the pace of the fight for a moment. McGee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McMunges's head. McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McGee lands a nice short elbow. McGee scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McMunges is looking for a sweep. McGee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGee performing his best blanket impression for a moment. McMunges tries to regain full guard. Instead though, McGee has advanced to mount. Uh oh. McGee with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McMunges is working to get back to half guard.

McGee lands a nice shot to the head. McGee looking to control and managing it successfully. McGee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McMunges looks a forlorn figure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McMunges is trying to escape the mount.
McMunges is bucking up trying to escape but McGee cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McGee content just to control the position here. McGee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McMunges manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGee controlling the position from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGee connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McMunges some visible discomfort.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ian McGee dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
McGee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McMunges looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McGee takes a little break here. McMunges wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. McGee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McMunges knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McMunges is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. McMunges flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McGee anticipates the leg and manages to get behind McMunges and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McGee slips an arm under McMunges chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McGee has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McGee is squeezing on McMunges like an anaconda would it's prey. McMunges fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ian McGee!
