Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Okoro Igwe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sonny Bill Williams! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Sonny Bill Williams has been cut. Igwe cracks Williams with an uppercut from hell and Williams crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Igwe's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Williams is rocked! Igwe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Igwe won't allow Williams to sweep him here. Williams has his foot on Igwe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Igwe works his way back into a safe position though. Igwe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Williams is looking for a triangle but Igwe pushes his legs off easily.
Williams being controlled here, momentarily. Igwe trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Igwe preventing the sweep. That's one minute gone in the round. Igwe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now. Igwe trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Williams is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Igwe is aware though and is defending well. Williams keeping moving, preventing Igwe from controlling successfully. Igwe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Igwe tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard. Williams is trying to keep Igwe in close.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Igwe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Williams tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Igwe is aware though and is defending well. Williams trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Okoro Igwe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Igwe misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Igwe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Igwe! Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Igwe keeps working. Igwe is trying to get back to half guard. Igwe struggling a bit here. Williams is looking to take a break and control but Igwe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Igwe manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Igwe trying to control but Williams postures up.
Williams is trying to control. Igwe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Igwe is looking to improve his position.
Igwe is working hard here to advance position. Williams decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A combination from Williams does no damage. Williams gets a clinch. Igwe misses with a punch to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Igwe. Igwe decides to pull guard. Igwe trying to control the position.
Williams wants to control from the top but Igwe keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Williams stands up from Igwe's guard - Williams perhaps looking for a knockout. Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams lands a jab-cross combination. Williams moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Igwe is trying to pull guard but Williams has him pressed against the cage. Igwe successfully pulls guard.

Williams has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Igwe is proving hard to escape from. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Okoro Igwe will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sonny Bill Williams's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams lands a takedown into guard.
Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Igwe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well. Igwe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Igwe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Igwe's legs - danger averted. Igwe is trying to control the position but Williams postures up. Igwe wants to sweep but no luck. Williams postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams trying to control but Igwe is working from the bottom. Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Igwe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Igwe has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Williams should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Igwe has tightened it up now! Williams should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
