Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Shortman (ranked 5968 p4p, 24251 weight class) and Sickle Cell (ranked 176 p4p, 209 weight class). Sickle Cell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Shortman feints and as Cell raises his hands in defense, Shortman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Shortman drops back looking for a leg! Cell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cell manages to kick Shortman off! Shortman jumps back into Cell's guard.

Cell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shortman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cell wants to stand but Shortman is controlling the position.

Shortman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Shortman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shortman, into his guard.

Cell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
