The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probert thuds a left hand into Motts's body.
Motts takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Probert dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Probert throws a one two combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Motts.

Probert is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Motts has his takedown stuffed
letting Probert counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Probert feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mottss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Motts is trying hard to land a takedown here. Probert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Melo Motts. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Probert drops Motts with a beautiful combination! Motts stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Probert is looking for the KO!

Probert wobbles Motts with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Probert dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Motts to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Bob Probert decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
