The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoenfeld tries for a takedown but Falto circles away easily
and Falto counters with a stiff right hand.
Shoenfeld closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Falto's guard.
Shoenfeld got a little sloppy there for a moment and Falto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shoenfeld has managed to get both his arms back between Falto's legs - danger averted.
Shoenfeld passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Shoenfeld tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Falto tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shoenfeld wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shoenfeld tries for a kimura but Falto is defending well.
Falto is looking to regain half guard here but Shoenfeld keeps moving and retains side control.
Falto is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shoenfeld off and has taken his back!

Falto has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Shoenfeld is in real trouble here. Falto gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Shoenfeld is tapping out! Falto wins by rear naked choke!
