Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Zac Tan (ranked 3259 p4p, 2605 weight class) and Johnny Saigon (ranked 405 p4p, 345 weight class). Tan comes into the arena with Thunder blaring out of the sound system. Saigon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Run through the jungle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Zac Tan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Saigon!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saigon lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Saigon.
Tan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saigon's guard.
Tan won't allow Saigon to sweep him here.
Tan won't allow Saigon to get back to his feet.
Tan is looking to work some ground and pound but Saigon has wrist control.

Saigon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Tan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Saigon off and has taken his back!

Tan is trying to stick to Saigon's back but Saigon is turning into Tan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Saigon.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Saigon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Saigon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Tan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Saigon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Saigon's corner calls for a 1-2. Saigon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tan jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Saigon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Tan tries for a takedown but Saigon circles away easily
and Saigon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Saigon lands with a nice combination. Tan backs away looking to recover.
Saigon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tan at a distance.
Saigon tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Saigon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tan tries for a takedown but Saigon circles away easily
and Saigon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Saigon lands the left hand.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Saigon!
Saigon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Saigon duly obliges.
Tan is rocked!
Big Zac Tan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tan looks for a takedown but Saigon sprawls well.
Tan shoots in and drives through. Saigon sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Zac Tan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saigon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Saigon moves out of range of the leg kick from Tan.
Saigon throws a series of strikes that have Tan backpedaling.
Oh Tan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tan looks up at the clock. Bad move! Saigon lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tan. Saigon pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Saigon!
A less than humble Johnny Saigon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Big Zac Tan spoke after the fight, saying 'Well yea, he fought better than me. I need to work harder in the gym and er ya, get better.'.
