Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raper misses with an uppercut. The Barbarian saw that one coming.
Raper swings widly with a right hand
and The Barbarian makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The Barbarian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Raper was well out of range. Poor timing from The Barbarian.

and The Barbarian counters with a three punch combo that has Raper backing up. Raper nods at The Barbarian to acknowledge the strikes.
The Barbarian throws out a loose jab but Raper uses good head movement to avoid it.

Raper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The Barbarian throws a series of punches but Raper moves out of range.

Biff Raper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and The Barbarian counters with a nice low kick that buckles Raper's knee momentarily.

The Barbarian cracks Raper with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. The Barbarian has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Raper to stand back up!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Barbarian throws a low kick, looking for Raper's leg but Raper calmly moves out of range.
The Barbarian tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice side step and Raper releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Raper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Raper throws a hook to the side of The Barbarian's head but The Barbarian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Raper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Raper throws the left hand but The Barbarian avoids the punch easily.
Raper takes a swing at The Barbarian's ribcage but misses.

Raper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The Barbarian misses with a wild body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The Barbarian lands a nice looking body kick.
The Barbarian ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Raper's jaw. Raper's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! The Barbarian does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
