Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heights gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bennet crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Heights - the referee stops the clock and Bennet gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Heights. Bennet manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Heights half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Bennet fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heights manages to avoid it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bennet enables Heights to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bennet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bennet manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heights tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bennet just stands there and leans against the cage.

Heights tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bennet avoids it.

Bennet breaks the clinch.
Heights blocks a head kick by Bennet.
Heights fails with a takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Bennet.
Heights lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Michael Bennet has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Heights.
Bennet looks to land a combination but Heights avoids it well.
Heights digs a good hook to Bennet's body.
Heights will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Heights throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heights shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bennet but Bennet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
