This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; David Rogers! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Frank Froggly!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rogers enables Froggly to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rogers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Froggly not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rogers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Froggly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Froggly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Froggly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rogers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Froggly has managed to get both his arms back between Rogers's legs - danger averted.

It looks like Froggly might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Rogers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Froggly manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rogers has Froggly in his guard.

Rogers throws his legs up looking for a submission but Froggly uses it to pass to side control.
