The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babel darts in and clinches Nunes up against the cage.

We've been hearing reports that Babel has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nunes manages to break the clinch.
Babel closes the distance and pushes Nunes back into the cage.
Nunes tries to circle away but Babel has him pinned against the cage.
Babel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nunes uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Babel is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nunes frees his head nicely. Oh but Babel has switched to an armbar! Nunes is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
