Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamez darts in and clinches Sims up against the cage.
Sims wants to break the clinch but can't.

Sims avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sims wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lamez has him pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Sims's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Sims misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lamez jumps guard but Sims turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Lamez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lamez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Lamez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sims is aware though and is defending well.

Oh Lamez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamez throws a big shot that misses.
Sims keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sims scores with the left hand. Lamez knows he should have avoided that one.
Sims drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Lamez right on the button. Lamez goes down! Sims follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sims gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vudu Sims!
After winning the bout, Vudu Sims thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
