Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Green (ranked 287 p4p, 499 weight class) and Richard Ramirez (ranked 36 p4p, 73 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Get Lucky as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Green!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Green fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ramirez avoids it really well and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramirez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Green goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ramirez turns into him and now he's in Green's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ed Green will probably get the nod.

Green drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Green as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ramirez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Green! Nice submission victory there!
