Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Keats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrki Pekkala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keats comes to the cage accompanied by Ludacris- Undisputed (ft. Lloyd "Money" Mayweather. Jyrki Pekkala is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jacob Keats! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jyrki Pekkala! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pekkala tries to clinch up. Pekkala fails in his attempt to clinch. Pekkala tries to close the distance and clinch but Keats swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pekkala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keats swats him away and circles back towards the center. Keats drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pekkala is trying to buck Keats off. Keats working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Keats tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keats is looking to take a break and control but Pekkala is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Keats tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Keats has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Keats wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pekkala keeps working. Pekkala sneaks out the side door and pushes Keats away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Keats avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Keats fails to land the takedown. Keats tries to clinch there but Pekkala circles away.
Pekkala tries to clinch and Keats counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pekkala! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keats misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keats trying to control but Pekkala is having none of it. Keats is breathing heavily. Pekkala is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Keats throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pekkala because Keats loaded up on that one. Pekkala is trying to stand. Keats punching from mount but Pekkala doing a good job of avoiding damage. Keats can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pekkala is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Keats working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Pekkala squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Keats moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pekkala has worked his arm free - good work by Pekkala!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keats drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pekkala pulls his leg out and moves away.
Keats scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Keats is putting a hurting on Pekkala here, landing some big shots from side control. Pekkala is not content to let Keats control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Keats seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Keats postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Keats throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Keats laying and praying for a moment but Pekkala takes advantage and regains half guard. Pekkala pushes Keats off looking to stand but Keats dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Keats is trying to control. Pekkala wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pekkala closes the distance looking to clinch and Keats counters with a nice double leg into guard. Keats working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pekkala wants to stand up but Keats is controlling him. Keats is pushing down on Pekkala's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pekkala is fighting to maintain full guard but Keats has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pekkala looks like he's trying to stand up.
Keats is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pekkala defends it well. Pekkala pushes Keats off looking to stand but Keats dives back in and keeps control.
Keats wants to control but Pekkala is keeping him busy. Pekkala is defending against the submission attempts here by Keats.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Keats is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pekkala sees it coming and defends easily. Keats wants to work for an arm triangle but Pekkala is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Keats stalling away here and it's allowed Pekkala to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pekkala is keeping the position for now. Keats trying to control the position from guard on top but Pekkala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Keats is standing up over Pekkala. Pekkala looks to escape but Keats dives into side control.
Pekkala stops Keats from passing to mount. Keats scores with a couple of short elbows. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pekkala is trying to buck Keats off. Keats tries for a kimura but Pekkala is defending well. Pekkala parries the strikes from Keats easily there. Keats is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pekkala to escape.
Pekkala tries to escape but Keats is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Keats fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Keats is trying to get an arm triangle but Pekkala is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pekkala tries to clinch but Keats is having none of it. Pekkala tries to clinch but Keats is having none of it. Keats circles away from the clinch attempt.
Keats keeps the fight on the outside. Pekkala tries to clinch up and Keats counters with a single leg into guard. Pekkala didn't expect that. Pekkala keeping full guard, as Keats tries to pass. Keats trying to control the position from guard on top but Pekkala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pekkala keeping full guard, as Keats tries to pass. Keats is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pekkala is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pekkala has escaped and now he's on top! Pekkala gets to his feet. Keats looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

And that's the end of the fight! Jacob Keats showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Keats, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
