Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Malig (ranked 3112 p4p, 3348 weight class) and Trevor McCallen (ranked 183 p4p, 206 weight class). Trevor McCallen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malig misses with a left hand
and Malig takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Malig definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Malig misses with an uppercut. McCallen saw that one coming.
McCallen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McCallen lands with a cross.

and McCallen counters with a straight right hand.
McCallen connects with a nice looking jab.
McCallen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Malig shoots in and bounces McCallen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Malig might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McCallen has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Juice's Sweat Lodge. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Malig drops back looking for a leg! McCallen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McCallen manages to kick Malig off! Malig jumps back into McCallen's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Malig maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! McCallen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Malig has cracked it and McCallen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Malig!
