Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phuc Dat Bich (ranked 238 p4p, 595 weight class) and Jorlan Vieira (ranked 34 p4p, 78 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phuc Dat Bich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorlan Vieira! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bich jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bich clinches with his opponent.
Bich tries to pull guard but Vieira won't allow it.
Vieira lands a hook that snaps the head of Bich backwards. Bich tries to pull guard but Vieira won't allow it.
Bich fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phuc Dat Bich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vieira lands a shoulder strike. Bich is trying to pull guard but Vieira has him pressed against the cage. Bich fails to pull guard.
Bich jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vieira walks away with a smile on his face. Bich gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bich closes the distance and pushes Vieira back into the cage. Bich decides to pull guard. Vieira wants to control from the top but Bich keeps moving. Bich is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vieira is stalling in the full guard. Vieira tries to free his leg and advance position but Bich is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira trying to control but Bich is working from the bottom. Bich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bich is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bich had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vieira defends it easily. Bich keeping moving, preventing Vieira from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bich is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vieira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vieira has managed to get both his arms back between Bich's legs - danger averted. Bich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vieira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bich is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vieira with a flurry of punches that miss. Bich is looking for a triangle but Vieira pushes his legs off easily.
Bich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vieira looking to pass the guard. Vieira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bich has a closed guard, preventing Vieira from standing up. Bich is looking for a triangle but Vieira pushes his legs off easily.
Bich is looking to cinch up a triangle. Vieira throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bich's body to avoid the submission. Bich has instead reached around Vieira's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bich arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Phuc Dat Bich! After the fight, Phuc Dat Bich was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
