Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hokage Xeng (ranked 3868 p4p, 2581 weight class) and Vudu Sims (ranked 253 p4p, 169 weight class). Vudu Sims has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hokage Xeng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vudu Sims!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xeng getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sims takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Xeng jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Xeng digs a good body shot into Sims's ribs.
Sims uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Xeng.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sims! But no joy.
Sims takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Sims has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Xeng throws out a loose jab but Sims uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sims throws a series of punches but Xeng moves out of range.
Xeng definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sims looks to land a right hand but Xeng moved out of range.
Hokage Xeng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sims swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Xeng throws a hook to the side of Sims's head but Sims sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sims slips a straight right by Xeng.
Xeng ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sims moves away.
Sims throws a counter combo.
Sims lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sims. Xeng does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sims avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sims fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Xeng manages to avoid it.
Xeng misses with a looping right.
Sims throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Xeng sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Xeng misses with a hook. Sims ducked under it nicely.

Xeng takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Sims ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sims feints a jab promting Xeng to slip. Sims then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Xeng slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Oh Xeng is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xeng throws a lazy right hand but Sims sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sims is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sims cracks Xeng with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Xeng falls to his knees and Sims doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
