Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ LaRussa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in LaRussa's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Scott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LaRussa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

LaRussa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaRussa throws out the jab.
LaRussa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Scott can do to turn this around?
LaRussa shoots in looking for a takedown. Scott tries to sprawl out of it but LaRussa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Scott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
