Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torhte Finlayson (ranked 146 p4p, 1508 weight class) and Hayato Sakuraba (ranked 23 p4p, 198 weight class). Finlayson comes into the arena with Scotland the Brave, Black Bear blaring out of the sound system. Torhte Finlayson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finlayson scores with a body shot.

And Sakuraba tries to counter it with a takedown but Finlayson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Torhte Finlayson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Finlayson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sakuraba sprawling to the canvas! Sakuraba rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Finlayson finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Finlayson drops Sakuraba with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sakuraba looks back up at him and smiles so Finlayson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
