The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Oliveira shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. De Oliveira showed some decent athleticism there.

Turn kicks off De Oliveira and gets to his feet.

De Oliveira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Turn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but De Oliveira pulls his head out easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turn tries to get to full guard but De Oliveira has control of the leg.

Turn is defending against the submission attempts here by De Oliveira.

De Oliveira is looking for a kimura but Turn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for De Oliveira to get the leverage.
Turn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Turn wants to control but De Oliveira is keeping busy.

De Oliveira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've been hearing good reports from De Oliveira's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Turn trying to hold on to De Oliveira's head to control him but De Oliveira postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

De Oliveira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turn is just riding it out for now. De Oliveira eventually gives up the hold.
De Oliveira really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

De Oliveira seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Turn is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
