The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Veainu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vatsadze looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Veainu slips a jab and a cross from Vatsadze.
Murtaz Vatsadze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vatsadze goes for a double leg but Veainu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Veainu continues to drive forward.

and Veainu scores with a counter punch that sends Vatsadze to the canvas! Veainu smells blood - he's punishing Vatsadze with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Vatsadze has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
