Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinzade Murakami (ranked 3247 p4p, 2555 weight class) and Dax Crumper (ranked 299 p4p, 254 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shinzade Murakami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Dax Crumper!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crumper has a takedown stuffed.
Crumper goes for a double leg but Murakami avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Murakami continues to drive forward.
Crumper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Murakami defends well and Crumper ends up having to push Murakami into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Shinzade Murakami has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dax Crumper.

Crumper shoots for a takedown but Murakami saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Murakami really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Crumper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murakami doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Crumper.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Crumper is working for a kimura but Murakami is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Crumper takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Crumper is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crumper won't let Murakami get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Murakami leaves Crumper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Murakami was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Crumper.

Crumper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Crumper takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crumper shoots in looking for a takedown but Murakami manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crumper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Murakami fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crumper, pushing him back against the cage.
Murakami is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crumper can do to turn this around?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murakami is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Crumper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Murakami pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Murakami makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crumper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Murakami sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Crumper walks into a stiff left hand from Murakami.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murakami sizes up Crumper with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Crumper is rocked!
Murakami cracks Crumper with a left hook right on the temple and Crumper goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Murakami lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Crumper is OK!
