Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Wei (ranked 2830 p4p, 2384 weight class) and Daron Acemoglu (ranked 352 p4p, 301 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Acemoglu!
Wei has his takedown stuffed
and Acemoglu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Acemoglu lands with a good body shot.

Wei closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Acemoglu did well to prevent Wei getting side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wei connects with a nice short shot to Acemoglu's temple.
Wei working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Acemoglu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wei's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wei's back!
