Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corwyn Potts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aris Lithoxoidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potts comes to the ring accompanied by Mama Said Knock you Out. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corwyn Potts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aris Lithoxoidis! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potts throws a head kick that misses. Potts pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lithoxoidis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Potts. Potts obviously looking to wear him down.
Lithoxoidis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Potts as he jumps to the side. Potts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Potts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lithoxoidis.
It looks like Aris Lithoxoidis has been cut. Potts showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lithoxoidis.
Potts closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Lithoxoidis wants to break free but Potts has control.
Potts breaks from the clinch.
No luck for Lithoxoidis with that takedown attempt. Corwyn Potts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aris Lithoxoidis. Potts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

letting Potts counter with a right hand. Lithoxoidis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lithoxoidis with good strikes from the mount here! Lithoxoidis looks gassed! Lithoxoidis has hold of Potts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Potts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
You get the feeling that Potts really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Potts tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lithoxoidis lands a heavy elbow.

Potts is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lithoxoidis. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lithoxoidis tries for a takedown but Potts circles away easily and Potts finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Aris Lithoxoidis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Potts scores with a head kick.
A left and a right from Potts both land. Nice combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lithoxoidis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Potts makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Corwyn Potts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aris Lithoxoidis. Potts lands a head kick. Lithoxoidis smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Lithoxoidis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Potts throws a series of punches but Lithoxoidis moves out of range. Potts thumps Lithoxoidis with a low kick. Potts stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lithoxoidis is breathing heavily. Lithoxoidis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Potts scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Potts throws a nice head kick!
Lithoxoidis is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Potts connects with a solid leg kick. Potts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lithoxoidis.

Lithoxoidis seems to have recovered his senses. Potts pushes Lithoxoidis up against the ropes in a clinch. Potts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Potts throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potts plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crunch! Potts slams his shin into Lithoxoidis's torso. Potts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lithoxoidis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lithoxoidis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Potts trying to control the action but Lithoxoidis is working from the bottom. Lithoxoidis manages to get back to half guard. Lithoxoidis is trying to get back to full guard. Potts tries to stand and escape but Lithoxoidis is controlling the position. Lithoxoidis tries to get to full guard but Potts has control of the leg. Potts seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lithoxoidis misses with a takedown attempt and Potts counters with a head kick. That will keep Lithoxoidis thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Potts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lithoxoidis backs up against the ropes.
Lithoxoidis fails with the takedown and Potts makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lithoxoidis really felt that one! Lithoxoidis misses with a takedown attempt and Potts counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Some wild striking there from Potts.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lithoxoidis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Potts manages to avoid the submission attempt. Potts is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Lithoxoidis scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lithoxoidis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lithoxoidis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Potts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lithoxoidis. Potts wants to get back to his feet.

Lithoxoidis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lithoxoidis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lithoxoidis looking to secure an arm triangle but Potts defends it well. Lithoxoidis is going olschool here, as he tries to force Potts to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Potts shrugs it off. Potts wants to get back to his feet.
Potts is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Potts really wants to buck Lithoxoidis off and get back to his feet. Lithoxoidis wants to finish this one by submission but Potts is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lithoxoidis. Lithoxoidis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Potts is surviving well by controlling Lithoxoidis's body position as best he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Potts's guard. Lithoxoidis looking to pass the guard. Aris Lithoxoidis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lithoxoidis stops Potts from standing up. Potts tries to land a sweep but no joy. Corwyn Potts is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lithoxoidis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Potts is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Potts has escaped and now he's on top! Lithoxoidis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Potts is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lithoxoidis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Potts's back instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Aris Lithoxoidis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Potts has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
