Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Forky Fork!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Walters!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fork drives through and clinches with Walters against the cage.

Walters has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fork is trying to keep an underhook but Walters manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fork keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Fork avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Walters.
Fork might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fork is trying to stand.
Walters wants to control but Fork is keeping him busy.
Walters looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walters is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fork is trying to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walters is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Fork reverses the position - he's now on top in Walters's guard.
Walters trying to keep a closed guard but Fork is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walters is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Walters keeping moving, preventing Fork from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walters is trying to control the position but Fork postures up.
Walters keeping full guard, as Fork tries to pass.
Walters wants to control but Fork passes easily into half guard.
Walters is looking for a sweep. Fork is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fork is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
As Fork backs off Walters throws a huge counter combo but Fork manages to avoid it all.
The fighters circling - Fork throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A nice side step and Walters releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Fork throws a big shot that misses.
Walters throws a hook but Fork blocks it.
Fork tries to close the distance and clinch but Walters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Walters changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Walters lands a jab.
Fork tries to clinch but Walters moves out of range.

Walters takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Walters blocks a jab.
And Walters tries to counter it with a takedown but Fork pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Fork has Walters up against the cage in a clinch.
Walters blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fork swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fork throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walterss head.
Fork makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fork tries to throw a body punch but Walters avoids it by throwing Fork back against the cage.

Walters drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Walters working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fork has passed into half guard!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fork throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fork lands a nice shot to the body.
Fork lands a nice shot that snaps Walters's head back.

Fork rushes Walters and presses him up against the cage.

Walters turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Walters seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Walters is looking to advance position but Fork won't allow it.

Walters seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fork does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Walters is stalling here. Fork is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Walters seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fork has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, if Fork is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Fork throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walters.
Forky Fork seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walters ducks under a wild hook from Fork.
Fork tries to close the distance and clinch but Walters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Fork. Walters does a little dance to reset his feet.

The referee asks Walters politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Walters prefers to stall for the moment though.

Walters is taking a breather. Fork says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Walters throws a strike but Fork avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Walters's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fork is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fork sizes up Walters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fork fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walters manages to avoid it.
Fork misses with a shot to the body

and Walters holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Walters is trying to trip Fork. He has hold of a leg but Fork is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Walters persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kevin Walters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Fork has control of Walters's left arm, preventing Walters from doing any damage.
Walters trying to control the position from guard on top but Fork is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Walters drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fork manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Walters has Fork in his guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walters is on top in guard.
