Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Keane (ranked 1650 p4p, 1429 weight class) and Genkei Takahashi (ranked 178 p4p, 155 weight class). Genkei Takahashi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Keane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genkei Takahashi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keane looks to land a right hand but Takahashi moved out of range.
Keane loads up on a big right hand but Takahashi slips the punch.
Takahashi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Keane's head.
Takahashi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Takahashi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Brett Keane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Keane enables Takahashi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Keane manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A very excited looking Genkei Takahashi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
